Welcome to the universe of Moon Spruce which is the world of John Paul the songwriter. Inspired by the acoustic folk rock sound of the late 1960s and early 1970s, the songs are live intimately recorded raw demos and the lyrical and poetic style is driven by a passion for storytelling. Moon Spruce is an album of new demo songs that starts in the mystical realm of Beltane and ends in the everyday world of the People Of This Town. In between you will find the hypnotic Fading All Alone, a legend like Johnny & The Black Rock and the nocturnal dreamscape of Luna.Then hop onto that vintage rock vibe with Runaway Train. And the remaining tracks .... well let's just call them autobiographical.
